LHS Choir

Lodi High Choir will be singing the National Anthem at the Stockton Heat game this Sat., Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. If you’re able to attend, tickets are only $15 in the lower end zone section. This will be their Halloween and Safe Trick or Treat night, so we encourage you to wear your costumes and trick or treat at the conclusion of the game. Tickets can be purchased at the stocktonheat.formstack.com/forms/fundraisertix and select Lodi High Choir. $5 of every ticket sale will be given LHS Choir. Hope to see you there!!


 

Make This Year's Holiday Food Drive the Biggest Ever!

Please join the Interact club and Lodi’s Salvation Army to help end child hunger. The KCRA 3 Kids Can Food Drive is happening now and will run through Friday Nov 3rd. You can bring in your canned or non-perishable food items to any participating teacher.  There are also boxes located in the library and north admin office. Please click on this list to find the most requested items. Thank you!

Senior Stuff

Seniors need to attend the assembly on Thursday, during SSR (7:20–7:45 a.m.), in the Meehleis Gym, for cap and gown order information. Go directly to the Meehleis Gym and will report to class when finished.

Admission counselors from colleges will hold information sessions at Lodi High:  Attending a session is a great way to discover your college options. Learn about admission, student life, athletics, and scholarships. Sign up in the couch area

 

Tues., Oct. 24 - FIDM, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, 1st period.

Wed., Oct. 25 - PSAT – The PSAT/NMSQT will be offered for grades 9-11 at Lodi High, periods 1-6. This is a Common Planning Day. 

Thurs., Oct. 26 - University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 6th period.

Thurs., Nov. 2 - is the deadline to sign up for the Dec. 2 SAT & SAT Subject Test.

Fri., Nov. 3 is the deadline to sign up for the Dec. 9 ACT Test.

Fee waivers are available to students enrolled in AVID or the lunch program.  Stop by the Career Center to apply for a fee waiver or pick up registration materials.        

Fri., Nov. 17 - Juniors - Have you ever dreamed of a career in the FBI? The FBI Teen Academy will be held in Sacramento, only for juniors. Selected students will learn first-hand about career paths in the FBI. Stop by the Career Center for more information. Deadline to apply is October 12.

Womble Rumble on Saturday, November 18, at Lodi Lake.  5K |10K | Kids ½ Mile and 1 Mile Run. Proceeds from the race will go towards to the Lodi High Track and Field Program and the Lodi Track Club.  Registration forms are available on the counter in the North Administration Office or online at   www.onyourmarkevents.com Registration deadline is November 8.

ASTEP - Free Tutoring

The Lodi High After-School Program (ASTEP program) has begun. Complimentary meals will be available in the snack bar right after school until 2:30 p.m. Turn in your green forms, which were in your first day packet, as soon as possible. These are necessary to get your complimentary meal. The Library will be open Monday thru Thursday, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., where you can work, have computer access, etc. There will also be Math Tutoring, from 2:20 to 3:50 p.m., in Room 1A. Science Tutoring will also be available soon. Other programs in the near future will include Cooking, Retro Games, Science Olympiad, and Robotics. If you have any questions, see Mr. Wallis in Room 6A or Mrs. Aitken in Room 10B.
